Dying fast under the shattered clouds
Broken by the jagged peaks
Nature sends her icy hands along the burning Earth
Blowing her chilling breath over every blade of grass
Earth seems lost and alone
The wind whispers to the trees to calm their aching hearts
But rain keeps falling on the fires of the forest's pain
The elements are tying together
Entangling in a chaotic fusion of fatality
The ocean's waves whip wistfully against the tide
As it has done since the dawn of time
Every creature branded to its doom
Even the wolf's howl to the ever-changing moon
Shows not a sign of recognition
A beaver's home is now it's cloak
To all of the breaking prophecies
Eagles soar high above the bleeding clouds
Spreading their wings wide to spot the safest shelter
Under the wind or within the waves of flame from the fire
Waterfalls crash longingly against the faded pools below
Snow beats down upon the fire
Setting it at ease
Roaring and soaring and tumbling in the wind
Bracken and heather catch fire again
Rotting embankments covered in green
Soak up the burning threads
All of the living are damned to die this unnatural death
Devastation to follow every rocky and bubbling river
All the way to the sea
Where the land parts and sinks inward
And all the trees stop growing
Loneliness slowly pries its way into every element's soul
Ripping it free of total control
Sending it hurtling down the greatest mountain
To leave the broken Earth alone
Destruction and corruption
Everything's demolished
Trees lay in pieces
Stones are shattered amongst the grass
And the only pools still holding crystal waters
Are the lakes of the living’s tears
