As the blistering acids of summer
Twist and turn into a dying fall
Winter’s icy glare is creeping
Decaying Earth in a frozen shawl

Emancipated by the moon
Engulfed by its illuminated force
The epitome of its iridescent rays
Files out every sector of its source

Shadows of light and silhouettes
Bear up from underground
The sun in orbit will never cease
It speaks and it displays all is bound

Stolen pride in a false reality
Betraying all that is written to verse
Black rebirth and a bloody cleansing
Oceans are laced with a demon’s curse

Hearing the sound, the cries in the night
Someone is facing Satan’s wrath
Signals flare to warn the wrong
Realization brings Earth’s bloodbath

Children cry while soldiers fight
Acid rains and skin turns to ash
Tranquil dreams go up in flames
Sickened veins fall with a slash

Tattered remains lay beaten
Turning brother against brother
Peering eyes against a scarlet sky
A teenager shoots his mother

Conception rejected and killed
Mutilated springs of time
God disappears as darkness falls
A dollar isn’t worth a dime

Taking it all and barely breathing
The final blows stop the mending
Earth goes down in a suicidal destruction
