Dark and magnificent
He stands strong and proud
With acute, beady eyes
He speaks his pain, aloud
Daring and masculine
He prowls toward the sun
With dreary, weary dreams
He stairs with passion
Deserting and regretful
He descends into the earth
With fearful, hurtful cries
He returns to his birth
Pacified and innocent
He crawls upon the snow
With pearly, ivory flesh
He watches a trench below
Sacred and untouched
He sees her milky skin
With tempting, radiant eyes
She speaks of where she’s been
Relief and betrayal
He tears himself in two
With loving, hating thoughts
He forgets what he once knew
Unyielding and unfolding
Reality invades his skin
With intense, crucifying words
She bleakly confesses her sin
Unstoppable and inevitable
He reaches for the gun
With a solitary, momentary pull
He vanishes into oblivion
